That's quite funny to hear about this fridge war; my sister and I are having a wall-war over our wedding photos and who gets the best position in my Mum's living room!
Photos of Alasdair look lovely. Are you coping ok with the lack of sleep, nappies, etc?

Ian said...

Yeah, we're coping fine. Getting lots more sleep than I had expected really. He does a couple of good solid 2 or 3 hour chunks a night. Nikki feeds him for 30 minutes to an hour each time, so I can knock the nappy change out in 2 minutes with my eyes closed and get back to bed. I'm getting about 6 or 7 hours I reckon.

Yeah, you've got to master the nappy-change-while-still-asleep procedure. And the "it's ok dear, I'll stay awake and keep you compazzzzzzzz....".

So far that's not been a problem, Nikki's got her "The Archers" podcasts to keep her company so far.

Margaret Anne saw Alasdair for 1st time & thinks he's like his daddy

Is Nikki listening to the radio 4 soap opera or is it something American I've not heard of? She'll be like my Dad if it is the same Archers. I'm more a PM with Eddie Mair woman myself. He's my favourite gay broadcaster.
When I was breastfeeding in the middle of the night I got into Alex Lester on radio 2. I miss him now, but not the 4am feeds...

It is the radio 4 Archers. She downloads the podcast, though I'm not sure rearranging headphones at 4 in the morning was working out too well, so it might be back to books.

He's becoming quite the lad now isn't he. You can see him growing before your very eyes!

Trying to put on headphones one handed at 3am isn't very easy so I'm getting behind on the Archers. If it ever cools down or stops raining then I might be able to go for a walk and catch up on my podcasts.

Hya Nikki, have you taken Alasdair out for a walk in his pram yet or is it too hot? When we lived in Boston I probably walked Lachlan round the air-conditioned mall more than I did outside.
Magnus nearly always sleeps in his pram so I can listen to the radio through my mobile while walking him.

we went out for a walk yesterday evening for the first time. It'd been raining all day so wasn't too hot. We've got a mozzie net to go over the car seat so Alasdair wouldn't get bitten. Might have to try walking around the mall until the weather cools down, although the car ride to the mall will send him to sleep anyway.
