In Support of Bear Grylls

There was a little controversy about my new hero. It seemed like nonsense when I read it, part and parcel of making a TV show spun around by professional mole hill to mountain-ers in an attempt to diminish the massive entertainment value many of us derived from the show. The man himself has responded on his blog and if his word is not good enough for you, then check out comments from the three supporters beneath his entry. Good enough for me, bring on more Man vs. Wild please.

Bear is ny hero. The press seems to not be informed on bear's accoplishments. I suggest they read one of his books(The Kid Who Climbed Everest being the best) had maybe then they woould do there research and find bears unbelievable feats. Bear nedds to walk right through the hard time just as he does and has done to anything that challenges him. Go Bear!!!

Couldn't agree more. The book sounds interesting. I'd really like to check that out. (That's a Christmas present hint for anyone keeping track at home).

The book is ours!!! Everyone else back off! Yes Ma, I'm talking to you. Oh and another thing....where did "Ooh shiny" come from? I thought my wife had the copyright on that one after the boot incident!?

Ooh shiny came from my transition from Classic Blogger to Layouts, which looks a bit cleaner and, well, shinier. You're right though, your wife had it first and in a far funnier context. When inspiration strikes I'll think of something else.
