Bangkok - Day 2

What can you do after an evening in a red light district, except head for a temple? Nikki and I took the Skytrain and the MRT to the river before catching a river taxi to Wat Pho. Since there are two slideshows here I've turned autoplay off, (which I think is a new option, that I will default to from now on).

Cool - that's one bloody big Buddha's back.

Thought you might appreciate that one.

Atoning for others sin's. Awesome!

Someone has to.

P.S. I saw that major Buddha on the Travel channel where they showcased an elephant camp. The trainers and elephants grow old together and they never leave one another. The elephants painted pictures (of which you can buy) as well as played soccer! It looked like great fun - any chance you and Nikki heard of or got there?

Can't find a comment link feed. Do you have to have the Layouts feature/set up? 'Cos I don't.

Are you sure you don't use Layouts? On your Template page, do you see Page Elements? Click "Add a page element", then you want to add a Feed. The URL is going to be

http://texaconsindiva.blogspot.com/feeds/comments/default

No, we didn't make it to an elephant camp. Would have liked to, but the pool was calling.

Thank you! The site, link and advice worked like a charm!

word verification: smenita = Smeagol Spanish.

Cool, glad it worked.

I was getting smenita all day yesterday and now you have it. Maybe it's some kind of contagious tropical disease?

Jen said...

Great. 'Cos I need to be sick again.
