Farming News

I forgot to tell you that our lettuce finally arrived. Damaged. We will receive a new lettuce in a couple of weeks, which just about settles it. Farmer Brown is never seeing his two extra onions again. Ever. I shall lose no sleep.

Well, of course . . . . It's far too late now to notify him of the "dubious" onions. In fact, I would think the "suspect" onions are probably consumed by now. . . . . Considering Farmer Brown, well, I just don't even think he realized he oversent "fake" onions or he did it on purpose anyhow.

Think no more of it. I hope you enjoyed them! And in addition, you get more free lettuce!

I know I'm being conventional but isn't it easier to go out and buy a lettuce the day you want it?

Fi brings up a very good point. . . Though I've been told that this is the bestest lettuce you can buy.

This is the best metaphorical lettuce you can buy. And it is worth waiting for.

The lettuce is a table isn't it? Put us out of our misery!
It's obviously what you would buy on moving to a big family house!

PS Lachlan spotted a jukebox in a magazine this morning and said we could buy it - it was £5,495.

Nope, my mum bought us a nice table for our wedding. I will put you out of your misery when we get our new lettuce. If Farmer Brown's people are watching I don't want to alert them.

Just in case anyone is interested, the jukebox was a Wurlitzer docking station for an iPod. So we're not getting one because we don't have an iPod.

But if you did have an ipod, 6 grand on a jukebox would be a sensible purchase.
