Taking a week off

We leave tomorrow for our trip to the UK. We're flying through Chicago, which is a worry as our layover is not long and the weather there has been crap. For those of you interested in our progress, I'll be updating Twitter as we go. If you don't want to click through, you can follow us on this very site, under the section that says "Where's Ian?"

Try to avoid the new Heathrow terminal... Well, at least, it did not collapse like the one in CDG.

Been following you 2 on Twitter. . .

Last time when I was in H-town (this past February), they had us on the runway (American) and they rebooted the computers as well. 15 minutes later, with smelly-smellerellas surrounding me, they decide it's not safe to fly the plane. 100+ passengers had to find another way to Longhorn City. . . . That was fun.

I made it back, luckily, only an hour or 2 after I was to arrive. I've never seen so many PO'd people in my life. I mean, I'd rather not fly in a plane unfit for flying, but you'da thunk these angry people wouldn't have cared much at all.

Glad you're on the plane flying here now. I understand wanting to get home, especially since Tim is waiting . . . .

Will be waiting to hear of your travels.
