Morning

This morning I kissed my lovely wife goodbye, collected the tasty looking lunch she had prepared for me and stepped out the door into beautiful sunshine. I took a deep breath of the lovely fresh air, savoured the warmth of the day, smiled at my freshly mowed lawn and stepped off the porch...right through a huge spider web at face level.

I would have just died. I. Hate. Spiders. And all things webby!

What is with all these giagantic webs/spiders lately? Was all the rain we had nuclear or something, b/c we too have HUGE webs/spiders in our yard too. What happened?

Yeah, I dunno. Our garden has about 3 different ant colonies, a couple of flocks of birds and a family of squirrels to go along with the mutant spiders.

I want a flamethrower for Christmas.

That's what you get for being all married and happy and crap!

True, my morning was going so well up to that point that by the law of averages it should have been an angry mama tarantula's web.
