29:52

It's not exactly 3:59.4, but I'm proud of it. In my lunch hour, a couple of times a week, I do about 30 minutes of cardio exercise. I used to walk for most of those 30 minutes, then ran for most of them and now, most of the time, run for all of them. 3 miles is a distance I've been able to run for a while, but always in just over 30 minutes. I feel like I've been chipping away at it for ages and today finally beat it by 8 glorious seconds, so if anyone needs me, I'm going to be in my happy place for the rest of the day.

That's one fast dude! I don't even think I want to run 3:59:4 minute miles. That would kill me. K-I-L-L me.

But congrats on the less than 30 minute mile for you! Awesome!

Get back to work before Nikki thinks you got none . . .

Good running, that man. I was just thinking how cool it would be to run a mile under 4 minutes, or 5 minutes, or possibly even 6 or 7 minutes and then started wondering how fast I could actually run a mile if I put my mind to it. I reckon I could manage 8 minutes but I'll have to put it to the test sometime.

Jen, it's 29:52 for 3 miles.

Shanks, on my weightlifting day I do a 4:40 half mile to warm up, and that's pretty tough, but I reckon I could go a little faster and I could maintain it for a bit longer, so I think I could do a sub-9 minute mile for sure. 8 would be pretty hard, but it's not a bad target.

Uh. Sorry. 18 shots of vodka ruin my reading skills.
