Yeehaw!

It's rodeo time in Houston. The festivities always start with the World Championship BBQ Cook-off. Nikki and I went along last night. It was crazy busy, even in the hospitality tent we had tickets for, but at least in there the food was good and free and the beer, even if it was Miller Lite, didn't cost anything either. The thumping bass did drive us outside, where the beer cost money, but Shiner Bock was available. A very fair trade. Also, we had funnel cake. Mmmmmm. Some pics...

How fun! Yeah, even the pictures make it look really busy with loads of cowboys/girls running amock.

Ya'll look fantastic! Even though I have no idea who the 3 people are in the first picture?

But. . .ah. . .where's your boot picture?

Looks like all y'all had a [insert Texan phrase here] time.

Did anyone get shot?

Nice buckle!

The first picture is Arnaud, with Louisa on his left and a friend of his, Isabelle on his right.

Oops, forgot the boot pics, sorry. We may be going back Tuesday, will try to remember then.

No one got shot, I don't think that sort of thing goes on at the rodeo.

I love my belt buckle - it says "Don't Mess With Texas"

I can't believe you didn't recognise him. He's the Frenchest cowboy in the west.
