Home

It's good to be home. The house was in one piece, except for the computer. It appears to have blown a fuse in its power supply, but is hopefully terminal enough that Nikki will have to let me buy a whole new one.

The garden was a little overgrown. The herbs are mostly all looking big healthy and the tomato plant has gone absolutely bonkers...two of them were nice and red , so I picked them, there are about a dozen others on there that should come ready over the next few weeks:I am bizarrely proud of these two guys.

Yay! You made it back! Did you manage to drag the Mrs. back with you as well? I think she's been gone long enough. . . .

I love, love, lurve home grown tomatoes! Still haven't started my vegetable garden. < sigh > We have loads of work to do with the patch of dirt we plan to change into a vegetable and herb garden - not to mention diggging up the entire backyard. < big sigh >

Welcome back home!

Yep, we're both back. Hopefully for a while, but you never know.

We have a herb garden, but not a vegetable garden. The veggies are just dotted around the flower beds. You should try that, much easier.

Good to see you're home,it's actually a very good idea to plant flowers with your veg or vice versa as the flowers keeps the bugs away from the veg
My tip of the day
welcome home

Thanks for the tip Mum, Nikki reckons Marigolds are what we need next to tomatoes. Any idea what we need next to peppers?

Welcome back! Delighted to see your healthy shiny tomatoes. How was the trip? Are we going to see photos? More importantly how's Nikki's nose? Fi...xxx

The trip was great. More photos will be presented as soon as I get the computer back up and running at home. I now have the green light to buy a new one, so soon, hopefully.

Yay! New computer!

Seriously, you didn't answer as to how Nikki's nose was. Is she better?

Yeah, she's doing great. No swelling any more. She may write a blog entry about her swollenness as soon as we can sort the computer out to get the pictures off.
