I totally want to ride on that ferris-wheel-thingy-mabob!
How fun is THAT?!
It is rather cool.
It goes really slowly though - not as exciting as it looks unfortunately. Luckily the weather was fine when we were on so the view was good!
Yeah, it's not fast, but I enjoyed it. We had a nice clear day too, so got some good photos that I'll get round to giving the Picasa treatment soon.
Wow, Gallows Hill AND the London Eye. The two premier UK tourist attractions in one blog. Nice one.
We quite enjoyed the London Eye too, though if you don't pay the extra for the queue jumper tickets you can be queuing for a VERY long time.
Good to see you are back! i wish you a happy new year to both of you and I hope that some time this year we will see each other, whether in Houston or in...well, if you really want, my door is wide open.
Nice Ferris wheel by he way. It muust be nice to see the Frech coast from up there.
Happy New Year to you too Bruno, we're really looking forward to seeing you in Houston.
You can't see the French Coast from the London Eye, but you can smell it.
grrr. I wanna go! hmpf!
I want to go home.... I am terribly homesick for London!!
I have swiped your photo as my background on my computer. I even like that it's such a grey day!!
Ironically I've never actually been on the London Eye, though my parents live just 12 miles from it.
It's quite good, we enjoyed it. Definitely pay the extra to skip the queue though. I can send you the full size pic of the Thames if you want it.
