Japanese Garden

Recently the 3 of us went for a walk round Houston's Hermann Park. We'd being intending to visit the Body Works exhibit at the Museum of Natural Science, but it was rammed with people. We took a stroll around the reflecting pool instead and came across the Japanese Garden. I knew it existed, and had even been in before, but could never remember where it was exactly. I had wandered around the park looking for it before (because using Google would be cheating), and was beginning to think I'd imagined the place. Anyway, now we know. It's a lovely, peaceful place and I look forward to going back in the summer when everything's in bloom.

Didn't you take us to Hermann park? Can't remember if it was '97 or '00. The Japanese garden looks lovely. Probably better that the one in Duthie Park.
Alasdair is looking bigger! Can you believe it is Magnus's birthday tomorrow? Time is zooming away...

I know I took you to Memorial Park. That's the one with the 3 mile running trail and the chin up bars and stuff around it. We may have done Hermann Park too though. It's the one by all the museums that has the outdoor theatre.

Good idea Mum, we'll definitely take you there, the whole park is nice.

Bruno: They don't, but the fish look tame and there are plenty of trees, you could probably roll your own.

Yeah, it's a nice little place. Hermann Park was already great, and they've made some fantastic additions.
