New Clothes

Alasdair is now big enough to fit into some of the cool clothes various nice people sent. First up there's this cracker from Stephen and Louisa:
Mine too buddy, mine too.

Then there's this fantastic exercise in territory claiming by Innes and Susie, as exhibited at Kelly's first birthday party today:
Yep, that's a full Scotland strip. Nice. Let's see that in close up:
Mummy claims she doesn't mind, but she's also telling me she's buying an England rugby shirt when she's at home in November...let the arms race begin. Speaking of Mummy, apart from the fly away hair, she's happy enough with this pic to let me post it:

Ya'll look so great! Seriously, is Alasdair taking growth hormones?! He's getting so BIG! He'll be walking before you 2 know what happened!

Alasdair looks very smart in his new clothes. Do you take photos of him every time he wears something new? I do that with Magnus! I think it's cos I want to make sure I get a nice photo before M pukes up on them! We didn't have much fighting over football strips; people got our boys Aberdeen and Scotland things. The Raith Rover fans in my family are obviously too stingy!

That's a good strategy. I don't do it all the time, but now he's starting to fit into some of the cool stuff he's been bought I'll do it more often.

Surely dressing your child in a Raith Rovers stripwould ensure a quick visit from the NSPCC?

Ooh! It's going to be fun watching the rivalry! Our friends Jo & Rob fight between All Blacks and England gear for their son Alex....at least they agree on rugby over footie!

Well, I've won footie, because Nikki doesn't care about it. Unfortunately she thinks this strengthens her argument that she should have rugby, which is nonsense of course.

Nikki's over November 4th, me on the 21st. We're heading up North on the 23rd and will be spending the night in Edinburgh on the 28th. Would be great to see you both.

Nice one! We're away the weekend before so I was worried we'd miss you but the 28th is fine by us. See you all then,

Innes & Sus xx
