I don't get it. AND(!) when I found out FB was going to be available to marketers and what-not, I just lost interest.

I took it down from my blog a month or two back, b/c I didn't want some random stranger stumbling across my blog and therefore seeing the unedited me on FB. Where I live, my age, my e-mail, etc.

So, I'm with you. You may not see me on FB anymore soon.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03584503437503775081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34494064.post-70585775377364448282007-09-11T12:00:00.000-05:002007-09-11T12:00:00.000-05:00I have a mild discomfort level with it. I understand that the new internet is all about sharing information and information wants to be free and all that, but at the same time I want to automatically opt out of sharing everything, with every one, every time and kind of choose what and where I share and facebook doesn't really give me that option other than through insulting the person who asked for the information. Information that they probably didn't really want anyway. I realise I signed up for it and I also understand that the information that's there is information I provided, and that the friend of a friend of a friend of a friend knowing minor biographical details about me isn't that big a deal but there are 800 other ways for the people I want to be in touch with to stay in touch with me and since no-one I wasn't already in touch with has located me since I signed up then at the end of the day, what am I getting out of it?Ianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04271378150323939510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34494064.post-55631390855576453592007-09-11T08:49:00.000-05:002007-09-11T08:49:00.000-05:00So, I've been thinking of leaving Facebook too.
